Design Build Services
The Design-Build contract delivery system has grown in popularity. The primary benefit is the simplicity of having one party responsible for the overall development of the project. Under this Contract type, the Owner will typically negotiate a fixed price to complete the design and construction of the facility. Then the Design/Build team designs the complete facility, usually based on a preliminary scope or design presented by the Owner. The Design/Build team is then responsible for construction of the project, and for all coordination between design and construction. In construction and in any other business, time is money. In the design/build approach, phases may be overlapped saving time as well as costs, by reducing the amount of required supervision, job overhead and inflationary impact on construction costs.
Construction Management

General Contracting
Each Construction project is different and requires different preparation and management depending on the Contract. The traditional design-bid-build system, referred to as "General Contracting", remains one of the most popular delivery methods for you, the Owner. In this specific Contract type, the Owner hires Design Professionals to design the entire project including construction drawings, specifications and contract packages.
