Rite Aid PharmacyGeorgetown Plaza Associates retained the services of Lighthouse Construction to provide Construction Management Services to build a 12,000 square foot Rite Aid on their current site at Georgetown Plaza inGeorgetown. Lighthouse Construction assisted Georgetown Plaza Associates with preconstruction services which included: securing an architect and civil engineer, meeting with local regulatory agencies having jurisdiction, representing the owner at critical agency meetings, gaining approvals and permits from local agencies, preparation of bid documents and negotiations of contractors.
The new Rite Aid was the first of its prototype to be constructed in this region. Being the first to be constructed, brought on certain challenges with incomplete documents, corporate changes, and additions to the contract. Although these issues were brought on late in the project, we maintained our committed completion date. In addition to the building construction Lighthouse worked in conjunction with the Town of Georgetown and the Owners, to enhance the aesthetics of the Plaza by constructing new canopies for the Plaza, new landscaping and better alignment and addition of new parking to better enhance the traffic circulation. | Browse by Service |
