First State Community Action Agency - Storage Facility

In May of 2010 Lighthouse Construction, Inc. was given the opportunity to renovate the First State Community Action Agency storage facility. The existing facility had reached a point of disrepair and it was believed a new storage building was required.  Lighthouse evaluated the existing facility and its structural components.  It was determined at that time a remodel was feasible, resulting in significant cost savings to First State.  Work on the facility included repair of the existing structural elements, re-sheathing the exterior wall panels and roof.  New roof shingles and siding were then installed.  Interior renovations included new electrical service, fire alarm, security upgrades, insulation, accessibility upgrades and mechanical systems.
